Armenia is a land locked country in the Caucasus, and therefore a border land to both the Middle East and Europe.
It's Caucasian neighbours are Georgia to the north and Azerbaijan to the East. It is within a southern part of the Caucasus which is also approximately between the Fertile Crescent (Iraq, Syria do not share a border with it however), Anatolia (Turkey), and Iran.
