"E1b1b1g" is a clade name used by ISOGG since 2008 to represent E-M293 (in mutational nomenclature.
E1b1b1g is NOT one of the "phylogenetic" clade names which appeared in 2008 in the publication of Karafet et al. (2008). Instead it was announced in a publication from about the same time, Henn et al. (2008) leading to some temporary confusion about what to call it. (The authors originally proposed "E3b1f" but Karafet et al. (2008) led to the wide replacement of "E3b" names with "E1b1b1" (or E-M35) based names, and it also put another clade in the "f" position under E-M35, E-P72.
